A quiet room, and time that is entirely yours

Beauty on Hampden is a small, private studio, not a busy salon floor. There is one therapist, one treatment room with its own ensuite, and a reception where you are the only appointment that matters. Adrienne reads your skin on the day and tailors the visit around it, using quality products and a hygiene-first standard she has never been willing to cut corners on. Clients describe it the same way again and again: calm, thoughtful, and the closest thing Nelson has to an oasis.

Treatments

Considered treatments, read to your skin

Customised Facials

Never one-size-fits-all. Each facial is read to your skin on the day and built from the Aspect, Sabore and Evolve ranges, finished with the facial massage clients keep coming back for.

Massage

Slow, considered and restorative. The part of a visit that most reviews single out, the thing that has people describing the room as an oasis.

Spray Tanning

An even, natural finish applied in a private studio, for a wedding, a holiday or simply because you feel better with a little colour.

Waxing

Careful, unhurried and as close to painless as waxing gets, done with the hygiene-first standards Adrienne holds every treatment to.

Brow & Lash Tinting

Shaping, tinting and tidying that frames the face and softens the daily routine, so you wake up looking a little more finished.

Electrolysis

Permanent hair reduction from a therapist formally trained in electrolysis, for the areas other methods never quite settle.

Detailed brow shaping and tinting
Brow and lash work, finished by hand.

Inside the studio

A few moments from recent treatments, unstaged and quietly at work.

The therapist

Twenty five years, and a properly unusual start

In her mid twenties, rather than take on a student loan, Adrienne took a galley position on a deep-sea trawler out of Nelson to save for her training. Four years at sea later, she moved to Auckland and trained full time in beauty therapy, massage and electrolysis at the Joyce Blok Institute, earning both a National and a CIDESCO International Diploma.

Everything since has been built on the same idea: give people the best possible care, use quality products, and never cut corners on hygiene. The studio is clean, calm and easy to find, with a reception, Eftpos, and a treatment room with its own ensuite.

The most wonderful and luxurious facial. The facial massage was the best I have ever had, my skin felt plump and youthful.

By far the most wonderful experience. She did what would be best for my skin and I left looking so much better.

A note from the builder

Like it? It is yours.

I am Si from ProperSites. I build a real, working site for a business before I ever pitch it, so what you are looking at is the actual thing, made for Beauty on Hampden, not a template with your name dropped in or a quote for something that does not exist yet.

The site is yours to keep. It is was $997 $697 to make it live on your own domain, then $49 a month just keeps it hosted and looked after. Month to month, never a lock-in, and if you ever leave you take the site with you. Most builders are the opposite: stop paying and your site disappears. Not here.
